Earth Trilogy Set

The Earth trilogy has been a commercial and critical triumph for Good Looking Records. A concept that rose from the wake of Logical Progression, Earth made the bold move of mixing the established drum & bass sound with funky down-beat tracks onto one album. LTJ Bukem's quest for the next generation of rare groove had begun. Three volumes later, Earth has become a milestone in label compilations - consistently delivering high quality, progressive, electronic soul music.
For the first time, Good Looking Records brings together the classic moments from the Earth trilogy on special edition 12" vinyl. For those who missed the limited vinyl box sets, this is the opportunity to rediscover selected highlights on a collectors format.
Number 002 is another fine concoction of drum & bass with downbeat smoothness. Master of the futuristic vibe Blame has his retro moments - none better than the awesome Revival, a track that takes precious jazz moments and twists them into the indomitable Blame template. The Suspects return to Renegade Hardware with the Syndrome Ep, expected in September. Watch also for Kemal and Rob Data's "Maelstrom EP : Maelstrom / Celestial / New World Order / Beckoning (Usual Suspects Remix)" (RH26) to be released 26th July.
Watch also for a new label from Konflict. The first release on Negative is "The Mummy /Bleed" from Kemal + Rob Data followed by "Portal / Conspiracy," currently ripping it up on Tymeless. Also planned is a 12" for Audio Blueprint entitled "Hybrid/Startrails" and a mix for Skunkrock

The label have stated 'expect something quite different from Rupert Parkes this time around' with his material reworked and reformed withy four vocal tracks. On July 29th, Progression Sessions sees Bukem back on home ground with old comrade Fabio. With 10 years at the top under his belt, Fabio knows no bounds. With accolades such as his weekly Swerve night, DJing worldwide, his own Radio 1 show spreading the gospel of drum 'n'bass and the recent success of his Liquid Funk compilation album on his label Creative Source, he's sure to deliver a night of the same degree.
After the packed launch party at the Shepherds Bush Empire for Journey Inwards, LTJ Bukems Top 40 debut album, Bukem returns to work his magic once again to push the musical boundaries further still with a dub-plate feast.
The One and Only PFM returns to the Good Looking camp selecting some prime cuts from his forthcoming material. With DRS and MC Conrad infusing their lyrical wisdom, this will be a night to be remembered
