John B / Future Reference / Beta Recs news

John B's 4th album, entitled 'Future Reference' is out now, on Beta Recordings. It is available on Single CD, Limited Edition Double CD and 3-peice DJ-friendly Vinyl. The double-pack vinyl sampler (limited to only 2500 copies) is also out now. (UK Distribution is through SRD).
The emphasis on this album is very much on the musical side of Drum & Bass, although it still maintains a hard, dacefloor-friendly edge. All the tracks feature vocals, yet span across many distinct styles, ranging from uplifting, modern hardcore tracks like 'Up all Night' and 'When I'm close 2 U', crazy latin tequila mashup party tunes like 'Ay Caramba!', beautiful, complete songs like 'Forever' (with vocals by John's sister, Hannah) and 'Run out of time' & disco-fuelled, liquid funk tracks like 'Show me the way' and 'B-Mine'. The album has been receiving heavy rotation from the likes of Fabio, Andy C, LTJ Bukem, Goldie, Randall, Bailey & Grooverider etc. A flash microsite will be online this week at http://www.futurereference.net with 1 minute mp3 clips of all tracks, graphics & artist details. If you require any more info feel free to email us at futurerefinfo@beta-recordings.com.
