CD 1:
After making this compilation, Goldie said that he wanted to show people the multiplicity within the drum and bass scene, and he has hit the nail on the head with this one. Personal handpicked tunes by the man himself, this mixed double cd compilation holds no barriers as it tears up ya speakers and rumbles in and around ya room. 18 tunes are present in the first CD, containing killer tracks like Champion Sound (Total Science), We are the Ones (Klute), Fade 2 Black (Souljah) and many many more, old and new tunes. The mix is as smooth as a baby’s arse, and shows that Goldie hasn’t lost his touch after taking a short break away from the scene to work on his illustrious movie career.
CD 2:
Again, a superb mix. This CD however contains a lot more Metalheadz tunes and some of Goldie's work himself, including this years smash "Beachdrifta". There are a lot of new tunes also present, but Goldie again shows that the scene has always had that funky vibe, by mixing tunes in the cd that include: Adam F "Metropolis" Sci Clone's "Everywhere I go" and Matrix's killer "Under sea flight". CD 2 is just as good as the first.
Overall: 9/10 , This is by far one of the best Mix compilation's that we now own, and its not hard to see why. Goldie has done well to get his message across here, and everyone knows that the big boy is back in town.
