MOVING FUSION "Atlantis EP" (Ram Records)
REVIEW BY: Bazzy B

Ram records are once again providing us with a forefront of Drum and Bass music, this EP is taking the dancefloors by storm across the country, it contains five tracks from the artists "Moving Fusion" who have become one of the records best acts. Most of the tracks on this beauty contain a low bass that gets your ass movin.... along with some stabbing synths that'll knock you off ya socks. Well done lads!

BREAKBEAT ERA "Bullitproof / Terrible Funk" (XL) THE REMIXES
REVIEW BY: Bazzy B

Yes this track is being re released again due to popular mainstream demand. This track was massive last year and the remixes are really phat! The Size and Krust mixes are the best, and I cannot see why they opted for an MJ Cole mix, the vocal style of this track doesn't really go with the bumby two step mix provided in Cole's mix. However, if ya didn't get the original then get this one, if you have then stick with that one, there isn't much improvement.

RATING: 7/10

KEMAL AND ROB DATA "Submerge / Testube" (Timeless)
REVIEW BY: Bazzy B

Taking a break from work at Renegade Hardware, Rob and Kemal (aka Konflict) release a track on the "Timeless" label. "Submerge" and "testube" are tracks not for the faint hearted, their strange synths and lantino bongo's give this track a different edge. If you are like me and follow the Glasgow lads, then get this one for ya Dj Box!

RATING: 7/10

TOTAL SCIENCE "Scope / Deal It" (Fuze)
REVIEW BY: Bazzy B

Total science were a revelation last year, and this year starts with their first release on Fuze Recordings. The pair from Oxford, impressed scene followers with their Bad Company remix of "Champion Sound". And now they give us a slice of their own music. They use a live drum set in the track with a heavy B-Line and electronic sounds that remind us of the great Roni Size. You have to look out for the this one, cos Total Science are gonna big!

RATING: 8/10

NUCLEAR FUSION "Cosmic Messenger / Catcha Groove" (State of the Art)
REVIEW BY: Bazzy B

A bit of the old jazz vibes with mixture of riffing beats makes this one a certain for all Liquid Funk fans. A very instrumental piece that contains that little something special to get that crowd moving. Could Nuclear Fusion become as big as the great Solid State were? Well with this tune they are heaing in that direction.
