Future Cut - Ghetto style EP - (Renegade Hardware)
REVIEW BY: Bazzy B

Aha, yet another great production from the guys that brung us the fabulous "Bloodline EP". "Ghetto Style" opens the package with a good funky feel, followed by "Dainjah", playing out some sexy horn blows and rumblin bass. "Stealth" is a good follow up, but it is the final track "Broken English" that does it for us. Mc Strategy on the vocal front providing some heavy beats and bass, nice going.

RATING: 8/10

Surge - Working out EP -(Full Cycle)
REVIEW BY: Bazzy B

The long awaited debut EP from Surge is finally here. And this is a typical Full Cycle package to say the least. Full of instrumental perscussion, the first tune on the release is "Working Out", a ruff n ready tune that leads us into Set It House containing some little vocal samples and a haunting atmosphere along with some steppin beats. "Soul Searching", a come down which throws us off course when "Studio Abuse" kicks in, the final tune on the EP that rounds off the package with a dark and murderous track leaving you totally bedazzled.

RATING:7/10

Magik Star - Pitch Black - (Urban Takeover)
REVIEW BY: Bazzy B

Urban takeover have done well to snap up this tune from one of bombsounds favourite outfits Magik Star. This production from Joe Nebula and kru, hits us with a deep stabbing and mirror imaged synths that’ll blow you away. Very sci fi indeed, with vocal snippets dropped in to create that sense of intergalactic warfare, and indeed we are hit with a barrage of assaults from beats in all directions.

RATING: 8/10

Various - Beyond Voltage 3 - (Fuze)
REVIEW BY: Bazzy B

Yes, we now have the third instalment of this brilliant little series. Beyond Voltage 1 & 2 were an excellent display of the talents that Fuze has to offer, and in the third issue we see more of the same. A Sides, presents to us a mixture of cool productions from the likes of Accidental Hero’s, Elementz of Noise, Skeptic and of course A Sides himself and Gamma Ray. Defintely worth a purchase at just £3.
